Many of us know what we need to do to be healthy, but we just can't seem to get ourselves to make the changes, day-in and day-out. So often we embark on a new diet or exercise program only to become derailed the next weekend, birthday party or night out. This type of "on-again" and "off-again" mentality can wreak havoc on a persons level of confidence. One way to build confidence is to celebrate successes big and small. After Jacqui works with a client to build a healthy lifestyle program, she incorporates fun consistency tools such as her 3~T's Challenge™ that motivate and reward clients for their "stick-to-it-tive-ness". As each successful day passes, clients build their confidence and start to believe in their ability to change. (See 3'T's video in online class section)
Jacqui partners with her clients to dig deep inside themselves and identify what truly motivates them to change. She uses evidenced based communication skills such as Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Engagement and Cognitive behavioral strategies to meet her clients where they are presently and move them in a positive direction toward a healthier life.
